Assignments: MARS Evaluation Poster
Choose a health care app that applies to practice as a nurse practitioner. This can be an app meant for providers to use in practice or an app designed for consumer use. The apps can be free or paid, however, the expectation is that the student downloads the app and uses it in order to evaluate the technology using the MARS tool. Once the student evaluates the app, they will develop a poster that demonstrates understanding of the tool and the app.
Poster must include:
App icon graphic
Name of app and developer
Mean MARS score
Strengths and weaknesses of the app and how that affects use of the app
Posters should appear professional and design elements should be carefully chosen. Student will use keynote (iOS) or powerpoint to develop posters. Fonts should not be less than 20 font.
