Autobiography Instructions and Grading Rubric
Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to demonstrate your understanding of
many of the factors that affect human development and behavior. To demonstrate your
understanding of Erik Erikson’s Psychosocial Development theory, you will analyze your
own development within the context of Erikson’s stages. By drawing connections
between Erikson’s theory and examples from your own development, you will practice
putting a theory into practice with a real person. You will also explore many of the other
factors impacting human development and behavior within a general context.
