Beginning on page 21 of Project Management for the Unofficial Project Manager (future reference: PMforUPM) the authors discuss Formal versus Informal Authority. They provide some examples and then ask you to think of a person you have worked with in the past a coworker friend teacher or informal leader- who inspired to give your best. They then go on to pose a series of questions continuing on page 22 (first paragraph). You do not necessarily have to answer each question but instead using the hypothetical questions presented paint us a picture of this person.
