You are expected to apply the statistical tools learned from the module on a case study. The essay should consist of the following sections: research question data and methodology results and discussions conclusions and references. Appendices are optional. Your research question needs to be something that lends itself to a statistical analysis in the broad area of construction researchYou must use the statistical tools learned from the module to investigate your research questions such as arithmetic mean median and mode; standard deviation and variance; quartile and percentile; Z-score; correlation; and linear regression etc. You are NOT expected to use all of them. Instead you just select these tools which are useful to answer your research questions. You may use primary data (collected via surveys for the purposes of your research) or secondary data (derived from existing sources that you are legally entitled to use). Your essay must include a clear explanation of how and where you obtained the data used in your research.
