In order to complete this assignment (test), you will be expected to decide which political party most closely reflects your beliefs. In your opening paragraph, describe the process that you went through to reach a conclusion. As supporting details, you will be expected to select three (3) specific topics that you feel are the core of your belief system. These topics will become your three (3) bolded sub-headings of one paragraph each. Examples of topics might be: welfare, social security, abortion, medical care, gun control, the environment, etc. For each topic, describe the stand of your political party of choice. Then, explain how the opposing party responds to this issue. Finally, explain which stance reflects your personal views (cite specific examples). In some circumstances, the party may not reflect your personal views. In such a case, you may explain how the party does NOT support your opinions. If, however, the majority of your positions are contrary to the party platform, you may have selected the wrong party. (INTRO – 10 points)

Finally, support your decision by citing specific examples or details (a minimum of three sentences would be appropriate). Make sure that you end each section with a one-sentence conclusion.
