The outcome of this paper is to create your own theory/framework for use in your individual, couples, families, communities and/or group work with clients across the lifespan. In addition, some approaches may “work” better with certain individuals and groups than will others. Talk about the fit for gender, lifespan, and cultural needs and fit for the therapy you choose. The “fit” and “working” is grounded in the psychotherapeutic and cultural perspectives for all involved. Headings and Subheadings required.
The paper needs to include the following components:
Paper written in 3rd (do not use the noun I to describe approaches in the paper, refer to the therapist). Utilize APA format for the title page, headings, text, citations, reference page and appendixes if utilized. (10 pts).
Present and delineate your theory of choice. Discuss main points of the therapy and explain the rationale of your choice. Use the discussion of literature, evidence-based practice, clinical expertise and interest areas in order to support your selection (10 pts). Explicate/discuss how this theory/framework will be used in clinical work, how recovery and resilience concepts are included, & with what populations of patients/clients/couples, families (15 pts).
